Dr. Adrian Goei
Dr. Adrian Goei is a proud graduate of La Sierra University and Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. At La Sierra, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Fine Arts. Both his father and aunt are alumni of LLU School of Dentistry. His grandparents were also dentists who practiced in Monterey Park. He is following in the footsteps of his family of many dentists.
His commitment to dental care extends beyond his practice through the mission trips to countries like Nicaragua, Paraguay, Ecuador, Honduras and Mexico, highlighting his dedication to giving back.
Dr. Adrian Goei is a member of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (SGVDS), California Dental Association (CDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), as well as the South Pasadena Oral Surgery and the Los Angeles Invisalign study clubs.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Goei has a lifelong love for music, arts, and sports. He grew up playing the piano, guitar, and drums. When he’s not caring for patients, you can find him on the golf course or tennis court. In his down time, Dr. Adrian enjoys binging TV shows with his fiance, Dani, and two beloved cats, Mr. Cat and Maple.
Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Dr. Adrian is a passionate foodie, who loves to eat out at any restaurant that is recommended to him.
Dr. Keion Yoo
Born and raised on the island of Guam, Dr. Keion Yoo spent his formative years immersed in sports and exploring the natural beauty of the island. He is an avid scuba diver, holding PADI Open Water certification, and seizes every opportunity to dive. Dr. Yoo graduated from Harvest Christian Academy before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Biology at Pacific Union College.
Before entering dental school, Dr. Yoo dedicated four months to missionary work in Mongolia, where he taught English and supported the Adventist mission. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Loma Linda University.
Dr. Yoo is committed to advancing his skills and staying current with the latest developments in dentistry. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (SGVDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Korean American Dental Association (KADA).
When not caring for his patients, Dr. Yoo enjoys spending time with his dog, Chorong, and engaging in hobbies such as hiking, golfing, attending the race track, and playing soccer.
Dr. Sharon Gabriel
Dr. Sharon Gabriel was born, raised and educated in Southern California. Having practiced over fifteen years, she has received both her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery respectively at the University of Southern California. She continued on to do residency training at the University of California at San Francisco and received her advanced training in general dentistry certification while she continued on in private practice in the Bay Area. Dr. Gabriel dually holds her California and Hawaii Dental Licensure and practiced for several years on the Big Island of Hawaii. There she expanded her facets in multiple areas of dentistry where there was not access to as many specialties in dentistry readily available to the population. Here she was able to put much of her talents to work in restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
She returned to Southern California with the emphasis on maintaining high clinical aspirations and staying technologically astute in her field. Dr. Gabriel strives to embody the best advances in dentistry, as well as maintaining a comfortable, inviting setting for her patients. She brings her expertise in her years of experience both to the team as well as her patients. Her goal is to keep current in as many aspects of general dentistry as possible including endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and most recently neuromuscular dentistry.
She enjoys traveling, keeping physically fit through cross training and sports. Dr. Gabriel spends most of her time keeping up with her son Cole.
Dr. Gin Goei
Dr. Gin Goei has been a practicing dentist for nearly forty years in the San Gabriel Valley. She grew up in Germany and the Netherlands, and graduated dental school from the renowned University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1986.
Dr. Goei later moved to Los Angeles, California where she started practicing with Drs. Lionel and Linda Goei. She continued her education by obtaining an Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry Certificate at UCLA, and a fellowship in Neuromuscular Dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. LVI is one of the most premier post graduate teaching centers for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry in the world. She continued her studies in G-neuromuscular dentistry with Dr. Clayton Chan to greatly improve care to patients with TMJ/TMD symptoms. Dr. Goei combines her dental expertise with modern procedures and cutting-edge technology to treat TMJ and facial pain. She uses her education to design beautiful and healthy smiles for her patients.
Dr. Goei volunteers for yearly medical/dental mission trips with IMAHELPS (imahelps.org). IMAHelps organizes medical humanitarian missions that provide some of the world’s most under-served people with everything from general medical and dental care to life-changing surgeries, prosthetics and other specialized services. Her most recent mission trips were to Ecuador, Guatemala and Paraguay.

To keep abreast with the latest in dentistry, Dr. Goei regularly attends association meetings and continuing education classes, both locally and abroad.
Dr. Goei is married to Dr. Stephen Goei, an oral surgeon based in South Pasadena, CA. They have three children, two of whom have followed in their parents’ footsteps and are now practicing dentists.
Jemima Mustac
Hygiene Team Leader/ Registered Dental Hygienist
Jemima joined the HDE family in 1995 where she took part in various roles, but it was in the clinical aspect of dentistry that led her to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Jemima attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and was presented with the Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association Award for outstanding leadership. Jemima now serves as the Hygiene Team Leader at HDE and is dedicated to collaborating with her team to implement methods that aid in disease prevention, promote oral health and provide every patient with consistent high quality care. In her spare time Jemima enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family and is a coffee aficionado.
Gabriela Monterrosa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Gabriela Monterrosa began her dental career in 2008 as a dental assistant. Her passion for the field inspired her to further her education and become a dental hygienist in 2017. Since then, she has enjoyed educating and encouraging patients on their dental journeys. Gabriela’s favorite part of her job is providing patients with excellent dental care and the joy of a great smile. She loves getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships. Being part of a team that delivers high-quality care and stays on the cutting edge of technology is something she values deeply. Gabriela is devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys being a mom to her son Joey, spending time with her husband and family, working out, enjoying life, and catching a game at Dodger's Stadium.
